On February 29, the U.S. government issued new travel restrictions in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Entry of foreign nationals who have been in Iran within the past 14 days has now been suspended. At this time, entry of foreign nationals from both China and Iran is suspended.
The U.S. State Department has raised the alert for travel to parts of Italy and South Korea to Level 4. State Department Travel Advisories can be monitored here.
The CDC recommends that travelers avoid all non-essential travel to China, Iran, Italy, and South Korea. The University strongly recommends not traveling to locations with CDC or State Department Level 3 alerts or higher. Please monitor the CDC’s travel information website for updates.
